The Evolution of Inclusion
Region IV welcomed Shelley Moore, virtually, on March 10, 2022 at Monroe County ISD. This was a collaborative and engaging experience that focused on inclusion. The handouts from Shelley's presentation can be found here.
The Evolution of Inclusion
How we understand inclusion is shifting. Rather than trying to include a few students who are different, we are striving to teach TO the difference. In this session we will look at how we can get to know our students so that we can respond to, plan and create space for their all of their diverse strengths and identities.
Inclusion: It's not more work, it's different work!
In this session, we will build on our understanding of what inclusion is and start to dig into how we can make it happen! We will look at an overall framework that puts students in the center of our planning, and aims to adjust the contexts to respond to their needs (instead of the other way around)

Keep Talking Inclusion - Ed Camp
The Region IV AT Consortium and a few colleagues from around the state met on Thursday April 21, 2022 for our second virtual Ed Camp. Conversations built on those that started with Shelley Moore. Participants chose to attend various breakout sessions to discuss a variety of topics that were generated from a survey leading up to the Ed Camp.
